Improving work motivation by gamification

Elements of gamification are introduced to the factory floor in order to improve work motivation and employee satisfaction as well as to increase the attractivity of the factory work for the next generation of employees. One example of gamification is to give points to employee when the assembly tasks are performed correctly and in time. With the achieved points, employees get for instance trophys or tickets for free coffee.
