Production follow up

Big amount of variation makes ETO-production challenging to control. One of the keys to cope with variation and make production more controllable is to shorten production lead times and increase the flexibility of the production. A production follow-up tool was developed to monitor lead times of different work phases. The follow-up tool gives forecast when the production will be ready and brings together various problems (e.g material shortcuts, quality problems, etc.) encountered during production. Production-ready forecast is automatically updated as the production progresses. As a long term result, shorter production leadtimes and better efficiency, more predictable and transparent production, and improved delivery reliability are expected.
